The Botanical Garden is home to a variety of wild animals that live and survive here without human intervention.

There are certain rules of conduct that must be observed when dealing with animals, so that living together is possible:

- Please note that feeding wild animals is prohibited.

- Please keep your distance from wild animals.

- Petting wild animals is not permitted. Parents are responsible for their children.

The feeding ban has several reasons: On the one hand, feeding is harmful to the animals' health. It also causes the animals to lose their shyness, which in turn can lead to unintended interactions. In addition, the animals that are used to humans are causing increased damage to our plant collections.
